Time to spruce up the ponds for summer. The wet spring has the ponds full as well as the grass along the edges tall and healthy. The recent torrential rains have also washed out some roads.

Tasks that need to be done are weed eating the pond edges, they can not be reached by a mower or bush hog. Also, if you have a small bush hog or large mower some areas the AGFC can not reach with their equipment.

We have equipment coming out to help put the washed out gravel back on the roads. After this equipment is done some residual gravel may be left behind that a rake and shovel may make quick work of.

To volunteer you can RSVP or just show up after 2 pm on May 21 and 23. When you show up check-in with Marty Davis or Larry McMurry to see where your help is needed.

This a great opportunity to maintain an awesome facility we are all proud of and lucky to have for our use.

Due to our work permit work at any other times is not permitted so that the work can be supervised. Please make your best attempt to help out.
